There are no boilers, pipes, or liquids in this heating system. It does not require ventilation channels, maintenance work, or the preparation of expensive technical permits. Installation of UDEN-S saves your homes as much as possible, does not require gas welding and serious damage to repairs. In addition, radiant heat has a completely different nature and copes with the task of heating any premises much more successfully than gas heating.

It is impossible not to consider the financial aspect of the differences between these two systems. The rise in prices for both energy carriers continues. But one thing is clear – the rise in gas prices will be more significant than electricity. This is confirmed by the forecasts published by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services for 2007-2032. It is also obvious that the rise in prices for central heating services, respectively, will be even more significant, while the payment for the operation of the autonomous gas heating system and the UDEN-S electric heating system is practically the same today.

Let’s take an average two-room apartment of 50 sq.m. Let’s compare the funds spent on the installation of the gas system and electric heating UDEN-S, as well as the costs of operating these two systems.

Therefore, you installed electric heating UDEN-S for 16,000 UAH, while saving (in comparison with gas installation) 17-20 thousand UAH. Considering that for 6 months of the heating season the payment for electric heating is 3500-4800 UAH, the money saved on the installation of the heating system will make it possible to pay for electric heating of the premises for almost three subsequent years (16,000: 4800). And this is with the current tariffs for gas and electricity.

As you can see, the myth of the insanely profitable gas heating fades somewhat in the light of real calculations.

A weighty argument in favor of electric heating is also the issues of safety, comfort, and environmental friendliness. Heating radiant systems based on warm panels not only successfully solve the problem of cold walls and damp corners, but also do not dry out the air, creating more comfortable conditions compared to any convection heating system (including gas), easy to operate and reliable.

From a security point of view, this is, of course, possible. The UDEN-S heating system is fully automated and completely safe. It does not need supervision, and due to the absence of a coolant, the possibility of its leakage or freezing during a power outage is excluded. After the restoration of the power supply, the heaters continue to operate independently in a predetermined mode.

However, we do not recommend switching off the heating system completely. As you remember, the basic principle of operation of UDEN-S heaters is tempering (heating of surfaces). Each season, the first 7-10 days of operation, the heating system heats up and, if necessary, dry out the structures of your room, and then simply maintains their stable temperature.

To achieve maximum economy and comfort, do not let the walls cool down any further, because reheating is an additional cost of energy. The most economical mode of operation of the UDEN-S heating system is constant maintenance of the set temperature. The optimum temperature is 20°C. An increase or decrease in temperature by 1°C leads to an increase or decrease in electricity consumption by 5-7%.

In order not to turn off the heating system during your absence, simply set the control system to a slightly lower temperature (for example, 15°C).

The calculation of the power of any heating system is based on determining the heat loss of your room. Each UDEN-S heater has its own capacity and is capable of heating a room of a certain volume. The technical characteristics of each model are in the “Product Catalog” section of the site.

It must be borne in mind that the heat loss, for example, of an apartment and a private house is somewhat different. For example, for an average apartment with an area of 50 sq.m and a height of 2.5 m, 0.6-0.7 kW/sq.m of power of UDEN-S heaters will be enough, whereas for a private house with insufficient thermal insulation, 0.9 kW/sq.m may be insufficient.
